About Me

My name is Abhinav Gupta and I am a Senior Vice President at Sparkrock. Earlier, I have served as General Manager at Amazon Ads leading Performance Advertising business unit across Product, Engineering and Program functions. I have worked at two start-ups  – Ravello (acquired by Oracle) & Jasomi Networks (acquired by Nuance) – and larger organizations (Amazon, Oracle Cloud, Cisco, IBM Global Business Services, BlackBerry) in Product Management, Product Development & Strategy Consulting across US & Canada.

I have a MBA in Marketing & Strategy from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, a MS in Computer Science from University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology. I was a Dean’s Scholar (top 5% of class) at UCLA, an Alberta Ingenuity and iCORE scholar at University of Calgary and the University Gold Medalist at Birla Institute of Technology.

As an experienced product executive, I have brought new products to market at Sparkrock, Amazon Ads, Amazon Alexa, Oracle Cloud, Cisco and BlackBerry building multi-million dollar run-rate from scratch and managed P&Ls worth $1.5B.

I have presented at business & technical conferences and have been featured in professional magazines (SDXCentral, PacketPushers).

I live in Oakville, Canada with my wife Pratikhya & son Neil.

Pratikhya works as a Biotech Scientist at Dalriada Corporation and has published many papers in reputed biotech journals featuring her research. She likes to make jewelry as a hobby.

Neil is an awesome kid. He trains in tae-kwon-do, plays soccer and is constantly up to shenanigans (as fourth graders typically are).
